The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be welcoming a much-needed boost in their offense as running back Leonard Fournette is expected to suit up in their Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers, as per ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Despite his availability in the game, his activity on the field would definitely be limited as he still hasn't fully recovered from his ankle injury. He previously went down in their Week 3 matchup against the Denver Broncos where he finished the game with only 15 rushing yards on seven carries.

His teammates still got the job done in lieu of his absence and crushed the Broncos on a 28-10 outcome to grab their second win of the season. The former LSU Tiger also went on to miss the team's next matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers which ended on a 28-21 win.

Despite managing to escape the past two games with victories, the Bucs missed the veteran's services in their encounter with the Chicago Bears in Week 5's Thursday Night Football game which eventually resulted in a heart-stopping 20-19 loss.

The fourth-year veteran currently holds an average of 5.1 yards per rush attempt with two touchdowns scored for the Bucs through three appearances this season. Even though he's still not in full playing condition, Fournette is still expected to create damage on the team's offensive rotation against a dominant Packers side. On the other hand, the Wisconsin-based squad finds themselves on a hot streak with a 5-0 undefeated record to start the season.

The Buccaneers will aim to get back on the win column and improve on their 3-2 record as they host the heavyweight matchup on October 18.
