Le'Veon Bell signed a four-year deal with the New York Jets in free agency after sitting out last season. In typical Jets fashion, they are wasting year one of Bell with a putrid head coach and offensive line.

Bell has rushed for 449 yards this season and is averaging 3.1 yards per carry. He does not have a 100-yard rushing game yet this season. Bell has three total touchdowns this season. It is safe to say that signing Bell has not helped the Jets as they sit at 2-7 on the season. The only saving grace that they have is that their next game is against the Washington Redskins.

3. Bell Sets Season-High Mark in Touches

The Jets have not used their All-Pro running back much this season. He has just one game this season with over 20 carries. That came in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns where he carried the ball 21 times and had 10 catches out of the backfield. Against the Redskins, he has a chance to break that touch mark.

The Redskins are one of the worst defenses in the league. They are allowing 136 yards per game on the ground. The Jets should be able to move the ball in this game and if they build a lead, there should be a heavy dose of Bell in the second half.

2. First 100 Yard Game in NY

Bell made a living in Pittsburgh as the ultimate dual-threat out of the backfield. So far as a Jet, Bell has not rushed for 100 yards in a game. His biggest game was a 70-yard effort against the New England Patriots in Week 7.

The Redskins have some big names in their front seven, but they have not been performing. There should be some room to run for Bell in this game. The Jets need Bell to have a breakout game at some point this season and it could come this week.

1. Bell Scores Twice

There is no excuse for a player of Bell's caliber to have just three total touchdowns in nine games. If he goes for 100 yards against the Redskins and has 30+ touches, there is a chance for him to score at least twice.

Whether it is on the ground or through the air, Bell has big play ability. The Redskins have been giving up big plays all season long and have been awful on third down. It is hard to imagine that they will be able to contain Bell when these teams take the field in Week 11.
