LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball are now officially international basketball professionals after joining a Lithuanian basketball team some time ago.

But apparently, the Ball brothers, excluding Lonzo, have different priorities that don't only have to do with basketball.

The entire Ball family has their own reality show, “Ball in the Family,” which follows the brothers and their parents around everywhere a la Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The show airs on Facebook.

And according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN, the LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball did not travel, purposely, to a game because the camera crew for their reality show could not follow them into the area.

It's all well and good that the Ball family has a reality show. But for the brothers not to make a trip to a game because they would not have cameras on them seems over the top.

The Balls are popular, and rightfully so. Lonzo is in the NBA and LaVar is revolutionizing the way people think about sneaker deals and he has the balls business acumen needed to sell his family's own brand.

But it can be argued that as professionals — which LiAngelo and LaMelo have now become — the reality show should be the last thing on the mind of whoever made the decision for the brothers not to travel to play a game. There are plenty of opportunities to get footage, even if it won't be of the two playing in that particular arena for that specific game.

A decision like this seems like it could have been been made by LaVar, and the brothers were just victims of that. Either way, it's not a great precedent to start their professional careers.
