Life Is Strange True Colors brings a new narrative experience for fans to enjoy. In True Colors, players take control of Alex Chen, a newcomer in the town of Haven Springs, Colorado. She comes there at the behest of her brother, Gabe. However, not long after her arrival, her brother dies in a mysterious accident. Thanks to her empathic powers – like, literally a superpower of empathy – she realized that there's more than meets the eye in her brother's death. Using her powers to experience the emotions of the people around her, Alex takes on a quest to find the truth about the tragedy that befell her brother. But watch out – overusing her powers can cause others' emotions to take over Alex, overpowering her and causing her to lose control.
