Game 3 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers was a thrilling experience for hockey fans. After going down early in the game, Tampa Bay found a way to bounce back and stay alive in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. However, during the big win, Ondrej Palat made team history that would make Tyler Johnson proud.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Palat's game-winning goal in Sunday night's game was his 10th career game-winner in the playoffs. This stat line broke Johnson's previous playoff history for the Lightning. So, not only is Tampa Bay title hopes alive, but Ondrej Palat made history against the Rangers as well.

This is an awesome moment for Ondrej Palat and the Lightning franchise. The team has been on fire in recent years as the franchise aims to secure a third Stanley Cup in a row. As long as Palat and his teammates can remain focused, then Tampa Bay can certainly come back in this series. Although they're down 2-1 right now, this organization has the experience and tenacity to even things up in Game 4.

The defending champions found themselves down 2-0 in the series and 2-0 during Game 3 at one point. However, the Lightning rallied in the third period to steal a victory away from the Rangers, who have looked amazing throughout this series. It'll be interesting to see how the next contest plays out, as it is do-or-die time for Tampa Bay.
