Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay had a fantastic season and positioned himself comfortably as quarterback Matthew Stafford's new favorite target. Although the Lions traded wide receiver Golden Tate and the receiving corps appears a bit weak right now, Golladay believes there's nothing to worry about.

With recent speculation that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is seeking a trade, the Lions have emerged as a possible suitor for Brown. Golladay wants no part of the addition of Brown, though.

According to Darrin Gantt of Pro Football Talk, Golladay was brash in his response to the speculation.

“To be honest, I feel like the Lions are good where we’re at.”

Although Golladay had a great season in 2018 and the Lions still have Marvin Jones Jr., it's fairly obvious the team could use some major help on offense. Brown seems to be leading everyone to believe he prefers a trade to the San Francisco 49ers, but he doesn't have much say in the matter. Golladay will likely continue to put on huge performances and use his tremendous stature to his advantage against opposing defenders.

The Lions need major help in every aspect so they should look to do whatever they can to acquire whatever kind of help they can get. With a new head coach and a new look on offense next season, the Lions could turn things around by simply using the weapons they have. Golladay may want to rethink not wanting a player like Brown alongside him. Sooner or later he's going to start to see heavy coverage from opposing defenses.
