The Detroit Lions were without their starting quarterback Jared Goff in Week 11 as Tim Boyle got his first career start. Jared Goff hasn't been great this year but he's undoubtedly better than Tim Boyle.

It's going to be tough for Jared Goff to make his return as the Lions are taking on the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving. This only leads to four more days for Goff to get better.

Head coach Dan Campbell was asked if Goff is going to be the starting quarterback on Thursday,

“He was our starter before he got hurt. If he can go, he’s going,”

This is interesting news for the Lions because many people want Jared Goff out as the quarterback. The Lions are in a horrible position, just as they have been for nearly the past two decades. This could be the Lions' best chance to get a win this year as they are taking on another disappointing team in the 3-7 Chicago Bears.

Jared Goff has played the worst of his career with the Lions as he only has 2,109 yards, eight touchdowns, and six interceptions. He is also a 32nd in QBR. It seems like a reoccurring theme for the Lions where they get a quarterback and he performs the worst that he has throughout his entire career.

There is a good chance for the Lions to get their first win and it's going to be interesting to see who is going to be the guy who gets the nod on Thursday.
