Matthew Stafford has built a decent rapport with Marvin Jones Jr. since they've been together on the Detroit Lions. Their connection continued with Jones notching his second touchdown catch of the first quarter versus the Minnesota Vikings.

The play was a simple three-step drop for Matthew Stafford, who immediately looked in Jones' direction. The veteran wideout made a subtle but effective move on Xavier Rhodes and was able to create some separation.

As a result, Jones brought the ball to his body and got both of his feet inbounds to give Detroit the lead. Jones has just three receptions on the day but two of them have accounted for both of the Lions' touchdowns.

Coming into this game, Jones only had one touchdown to his name this season. There is still plenty of game to be played for him to continue his impressive game.
