The Detroit Lions might have a star in the making with their rookie tight end, T.J. Hockenson. He burst on the scene for the Lions in Week 1 with a stellar performance in which he had six receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately, the two weeks following his impressive debut weren't all that good with only a combined two catches for a total of eight yards. However, in Week 4, Hockenson reached the end zone for the second touchdown of his young career, but now is dealing with being in concussion protocol he remains in heading into Week 6.

The Lions are currently sitting at 2-2-1 after having their bye week and will have their work cut out for them on Monday Night Football when they take on the division rival Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Detroit has gotten off to a better start than expected thus far, even though it isn't a record to brag about. A win over the Packers would be a huge step forward for Matthew Stafford and company as they try to make an impression in the NFC this season.

If Hockenson can get back on the field for Week 6's showdown, the Lions would improve their chances of pulling off the upset over a very good Green Bay squad led by a motivated Aaron Rodgers. However, this definitely doesn't seem like the promising young rookie will be ready to go for the matchup with the Packers.
