The Detriot Lions are on the board again as third-string quarterback David Blough found wide receiver Marvin Jones on an eight-yard touchdown pass. The Lions are up 14-7 late in the first quarter.

This is Blough's first career start in the NFL, but it doesn't look like it as he has thrown two touchdown passes against one of the NFL's best defenses.

Blough played four seasons with the Purdue Boilermakers, completing 871 passes for 9,734 yards and 69 touchdowns.

Jones continues an impressive season at the wide receiver position, catching 56 passes for 701 yards and eight touchdowns before heading into Turkey Day.

Detroit is currently 3-7-1 with a very slim chance to make the playoffs, especially in a stacked NFC North division. The Chicago Bears are 5-6 and eighth in the NFC Conference.

Chicago also has a slim chance to make the playoffs but needs to win out in order for a chance.

So far, Blough is currently 5-8 for 136 yards and two touchdowns.

Trubisky and the Bears struck early on with a touchdown pass to Allen Robinson, but it didn't last as Blough connected with wide receiver Kenny Golladay on a 75-yard touchdown pass on 3rd and 1o.

Blough is on the field due to multiple injuries to the Lions quarterback room, with Matthew Stafford out with a back injury and Jeff Driskel out with a hamstring injury.

The injuries are another reminder for a tough Detroit Lions season, which has been brought down by close losses and injuries.

Later today, the Buffalo Bills will take on the Dallas Cowboys, and the Atlanta Falcons take on the New Orleans Saints.
