In 2017, Detroit Lions cornerback Jamal Agnew earned first-team All-Pro honors for his efforts as a returner. On Dec. 22, 2019, he is showing just why he received such an award.

Against the Denver Broncos, Agnew scored the first touchdown of the day on a 64-yard punt return all the way to the house. Watch below. The slippery 24-year-old gets his way out of trouble, sprints and finds open daylight to extend the Lions lead to 10-0.

For an anemic Lions offense, Agnew's punt return touchdown was a huge addition to the scoreboard. An offense led by rookie David Blough was not getting it done on Sunday, at least in the first quarter.

Being slippery is nothing new for Agnew. Though a cornerback, the Lions will sometimes play him on offense on screens, sweeps and gadget plays. Most of the time, he can turn something into nothing. Just like he did on Sunday.
