LaVar Ball is a busy dad these days. The Big Baller Brand CEO is looking for a possible landing spot for his two sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, after he recently pulled the former from UCLA.
After it was revealed that the Balls are exploring overseas options, a potential opportunity in Lithuania popped up. Arturs Stalbergs, head coach of the Lithuanian basketball team KK Lietkabelis Panevezys, offered a job for the Balls, although it likely wasn’t one LaVar had in mind.

Yes, Stalbergs basically burned the Balls by referencing LiAngelo’s recent brush with the law following his shoplifting arrest in China as his “experience” in the field of security.
It’s admittedly not the most professional move by the head coach to have a dig at a teenager’s indiscretions. Nevertheless, it's a joke that should come across well with the Big Baller Brand-hating section of the population, which is significant.
LaVar Ball likely won’t find Stalbergs’ comments very funny if he comes across them. But despite the mock job offer the Lithuanian coach offered, the Balls won’t be short of legitimate options from other teams in other parts of the world simply because they remain a huge draw and will be in-demand wherever they land.
