According to former Blackburn Rovers striker Chris Sutton, Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has proven that he’s more lethal than Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mohamed Salah continues to impress in the English Premier League and he once again stood out in Liverpool’s recent 2-2 draw against Manchester City.

The Egyptian forward bagged his 100th Premier League goal and his remarkable performance for Liverpool has got Blackburn legend Chris Sutton raving.

For Sutton, Salah has not only reached the level of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo but is already even “better” than the pair.

“At this moment in time, he's better than [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo,” Sutton told BBC Sport. “His numbers have been sensational the last few seasons. To do it on that stage, which he has done for so many years, it just sums up how brilliant he is.”

“Consistency is what you look for and he is doing it season after season after season where others are falling away and Liverpool still haven't signed him up,” he added.

Aside from Sutton, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also acknowledged that Salah is indeed one of the “best players in the world.”

“The second goal [from Salah], only the best players in the world score goals like this,” Klopp said after the game via Independent. “The first touch, the first challenge he wins then putting it on his right foot and finishing the situation was absolutely exceptional.”

“This club never forget these things so people will talk about this goal for a long time and in 50 or 60 years’ time they will remember this goal,” he continued.
