Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah is more than happy to see Real Madrid beat Manchester City to secure their spot in the Champions League final. After all, he finally has a chance to get revenge against the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid went down 1-0 to Manchester City late in Wednesday's contest, but three goals after the 9oth minute and during stoppage time turned things around and catapulted them to the finale in Paris later this month.

After the rather shocking and wild turn of events, Salah took to Twitter to share his reaction to the Liverpool-vs-Real Madrid Champions League date at Stade de France to decide this season's European champions. It was also some sort of a warning, with the Egyptian scorer noting that they have a “score to settle” against Los Blancos.

It's easy to see where Mohamed Salah is coming from. Real Madrid gave Liverpool one of their biggest heartbreaks in the past decade after beating them in the 2017-18 Champions League final, 3-1.

Salah himself had a frustrating and painful experience during the said contest after he sustained a shoulder injury midway through the first half.

Now that Liverpool are playing better than ever and Salah fully healthy, hopes are high that the match-up this time will even be more intense than the last time they met in the finale.
