The fact that Logan Paul was able to last eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather earlier this month has clearly gone to his head.
The youtube turned boxer is currently looking for his next opponent and apparently believes that Mike Tyson would be no match for him. Yes, you read that right. Logan Paul thinks he can beat Iron Mike.
Paul spoke recently on his podcast about the idea:
“Someone mentioned Mike Tyson, like how funny is it? One great at a time … my lawyer mentioned it, and he’s like, ‘No, Tyson will rip your head off. You don’t stand a chance.’”
“I’m like, ‘Bro, I just went through all of this. You can’t tell me I can’t beat Mike Tyson.’ Bro, he’s old, old.”
Keep in mind, Logan Paul has only fought twice professionally. His first bout against fellow Youtuber KSI was an amateur clash, with their next meeting being his first pro fight. However, Paul lost.
There’s no doubting that Paul definitely exceeded expectations in Miami. Floyd is one of the best fighters to ever live and even though he’s older now, Logan still held his own to a certain extent. But saying you could defeat Mike Tyson? That’s a bit of a stretch. He’s one of the most powerful boxers to ever step in the ring and we’ve all seen how quick and strong Iron Mike still is at the age of 54.
Sorry Logan Paul, you wouldn’t stand a chance. Your lawyer is right.
