Marvel Studios and Disney+'s Loki is by far the best out of all the MCU series created for the platform. It was magical, intense, and astonishing. No wonder fans are ecstatic to find out that the God of Mischief will be coming back for the show's second season.
The finale episode has just been released and boy was it amazing. It may not have the best fight scenes or the most emotional scenes, but it definitely left us wanting more. Marvel has had a great track record when it comes to cliffhangers and the finale episode from Loki was no exception.
After the episode ended, fans were eager to see something awesome during the post-credits scene. What we got was pretty awesome. Just not something fans expected. We see Loki's file getting stamped with the words “Loki will return in Season 2”
And just like that, season 2 has been officially announced.
The finale episode definitely paved the way for new characters to be introduced in the near future. Personally, I can't wait to see more of Kang as he will be the next big baddie in the MCU. The Time Travelling Tyrant is particularly known for being a Fantastic Four and Avengers villain.
Who knows what will happen to Loki and the MCU? Will we see Kang in the upcoming Marvel Studios ‘What If…?' Only time will tell at this point.
No word yet as to when Disney+ will release Loki season 2 but our guess is it'll probably be released sometime around 2023 or 2024.
