Two of this year's top 10 picks in the draft recently appeared on the NBA Rookies Flashback Friday special, where they were asked a number of different questions to allow their fans to know more about them. While playing video games, Lonzo Ball and Dennis Smith Jr. were asked who their favorite rappers were, and they quickly discussed it before revealing who their picks were.

The Los Angeles Lakers rookie already said previously that his was Future, and that it was an easy choice for him. The former NC State star and ninth overall pick of the Dallas Mavericks though had to clarify if the question was referring to current or all time favorite, before dropping the names of J. Cole and T.I.

NBA players are no strangers to rap artists' songs, as they usually listen to them, especially before games to keep them pumped up. A number of these artists are also fans of the league, and have been spotted in the past sitting at courtside to watch the games live. Others have even taken their love for the game a notch higher, like Drake who is an ambassador of the Toronto Raptors, and Jay-Z, who used to own a stake with the Brooklyn Nets.

Truly music and basketball go hand-in-hand, but it's still interesting to find out who the players' favorite rap artists are, as it goes to show that they are also fans of them, despite their statures.
