A bold claim from LaVar Ball on draft day confirms that his son Lonzo Ball will lead the Lakers to the postseason, and it seems the hyped Big Baller is beginning his role as a leader for the franchise.
The 19-year old has been ready to make his debut in the NBA for quite some time, and the Las Vegas Summer League showed us a glimpse of the potential he has to shine among the big boys in the NBA. Even after winning the Summer League MVP award, the young point guard still shows signs of humility, an attribute present in many leaders in the athletic world.

It really says something for a teammate to go out of their way to say that about Lonzo. With all the crazy hype surrounding his family with his loudmouth father ready to spit the hottest takes of the year, one can really appreciate how Lonzo respects the game of basketball and the teammates he plays with.
The coming years for the Lakeshow looks bright, as Lonzo Ball has a few key years to mature, develop his game, and continue to lead the Lakers in the right direction.
