The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off a Week 1 victory over the Washington Football Team. They have a great young nucleus of players that look ready to come into their own. Justin Herbert had a solid game despite throwing an interception. Now they face the Dallas Cowboys.

Herbert spread the wealth to multiple of his receivers. Mike Williams and Keenan Allen both had terrific games as they went over 80 yards. The Chargers' defense also played well as they only allowed 16 points. This week, the Chargers take on the Cowboys.

The Cowboys are coming off of an opening night loss to the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite the loss, the Cowboys looked strong in Dak Prescott's return. This matchup between the Cowboys and Chargers is primed to be a great game. With that said, here are four bold predictions for Week two against the Cowboys.

Chargers Preseason Week 2 Predictions

4. Mike Williams catches a touchdown

Mike Williams had a phenomenal week one performance. Williams hauled in eight receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. He proved that he could be a great wide receiver two for the Chargers, pairing well with Allen.

Williams has been inconsistent over the past few seasons. With Herbert under center, it appears Williams will finally become a reliable target. He is a great jump ball receiver and is excellent at tracking the ball. Williams is a great red-zone target and could become a lethal wide receiver two.

3. Austin Ekeler rushes for a touchdown

Austin Ekeler is bound to be one of the top running backs this season. Ekeler had 15 rushing attempts for 57 yards and a touchdown in week one. It was a decent performance, but the Chargers will need more out of him moving forward.

Ekeler is a unique running back talent as he is good in the rushing and receiving game. He will be essential in the Chargers game against the Cowboys on Sunday.

2. Joey Bosa gets two sacks

Joey Bosa is one of the top edge rushers in the league. Bosa had a fantastic week one against the Washington Football Team, posting a sack and forcing a fumble.

He has always put up great numbers and been an impactful player since entering the NFL. Bosa will continue to lead this Chargers defense to greatness this season.

1. Justin Herbert throws for 350 yards

Justin Herbert followed up his record-breaking rookie campaign with a solid week one game. Herbert threw for 337 yards as well as one touchdown and one interception. This week he will be playing a worse defense in the Cowboys, making the Chargers offense more effective.

While the Chargers only scored 20 points in week one, they showed the ability to move the ball down the field. With an incredible array of weapons, Herbert will continue to lead the passing attack.

The Chargers are a sneaky contender this season with great talent both offensively and defensively. New head coach Brandon Staley appears to be the real deal and the coach that they needed. He has proven his value to run a defense as he led the Los Angeles Rams to be the top defense last season.

This game against the Cowboys is primed to be a great one. Both teams have prolific offenses, and this game could be a shootout. Look for this game to come down to the wire with clashing offenses.
