Looking to build on their dominant Week 1 performance against the Chicago Bears, the Los Angeles Rams will be coming into Sunday's matchup laser focused and ready to do some damage against the Indianapolis Colts. Quarterback Matthew Stafford went off last Sunday night when he went 20 of 26 for 300 yards passing along with three touchdown passes.

Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, Tyler Higbee, and Robert Woods also made major contributions during the Rams lopsided win with 17 receptions and 283 receiving yards and three touchdowns between them. Jalen Ramsey and Jordan Fuller were both huge for the Rams on defense all night long.

David Long also came up with a timely interception for the Rams. Boasting a new and improved offense with Stafford now under center for them, and elite defensive unit led by All-Pro defense end Aaron Donald, the Rams are looking for consecutive wins to start off their 2021 campaign. With all this going for LA, let's take now take a detailed look at four bold predictions for their Week 2 match-up against the Colts.

Rams predictions:

4. Matthew Stafford will have another 300-yard game and throw 4 touchdowns

After he lit up the Bears defense last Sunday night, Matt Stafford is looking to have another big performance for the Rams heading into Week 2. Heading into Sunday's match-up against the Rams, the Colts will have their hands full, especially after Stafford's historic debut for the Rams last Sunday. Looking to continually thrive as the one of the architects of the Rams new-look offense, it can definitely be expected that Stafford will have another dominant game in Week 2.

His ability to seamlessly move the ball around and utilize all of LA's offensive firepower will surely create all kinds of headaches for the Colts defense. Between the speed, power, and limitless athleticism of Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, Robert Woods, DeSean Jackson, and Tyler Higbee, the Rams possess more than enough depth and talent to achieve this.

Stafford also has all the skills, experience, and in-game awareness to keep everybody involved and smother the Indianapolis defense. Come Sunday's match-up against the Colts, it won't come as any surprise to see Matt Stafford light up the stat sheet and have another career night in just his second game as the Rams starting quarterback.

3. Darrell Henderson and Sony Michel will have a stronger showing in Week 2

Despite the Rams' dominant performance against the Chicago Bears in Week 1, their backfield had a relatively quiet night. Even though Darrell Henderson did come up with a touchdown, he only had 70 rushing yards to go along with that. Sony Michel also didn't have a major contribution with just one carry and two rushing yards for the night. Given how unstoppable this team already looked in Week 1, it can definitely be expected that Henderson and Michel will have a big showing for the Rams in Week 2.

This will give LA a lethal 1-2 punch at the running back spot. The Rams are undoubtedly a stronger passing team, but Henderson and Michel are great assets to their running game and in Week 2 they could definitely give them more production in their backfield and bolster their rushing attack. So watch out for this under-the-radar running back duo to elevate their running game in Sunday's match-up against the Colts.

2. Aaron Donald will have a dominant performance against the Colts

Even though Aaron Donald did come up with a sack at a pivotal point during the Rams big win, he only had one tackle all game and wasn't the force of nature on defense that we're all used to seeing. However, it was just one game and there's still a long season ahead, so it wouldn't be the slightest bit shocking to see Aaron Donald come away with a more dominant performance during the Rams Week 2 match-up against the Colts.

Especially given that he's an All-Pro talent with the potential for another MVP-caliber season in 2021. If one's thing certain, it's that Aaron Donald will not go quietly and the Colts will not be the team to keep him silent for a second straight week. On Sunday afternoon, he'll be ready to make some big plays for the Rams star-studded defense.

1. The Rams will come away with another big win

Considering how much talent they possess on both sides of the ball and how dominant they were last weekend, it would be hard to imagine this deep and explosive Rams team not coming away with another big victory in Week 2. With Sean McVay putting all his confidence in Matt Stafford to take the Rams to new heights, this team already looks like they could go far in 2021.

Again we're only a week into the season, but considering the on-field chemistry that the Rams offense has already shown, and their tenacious defensive unit that's only getting better with each season, it seems that LA is ready to take the league by storm and bring a Super Bowl title to the bright lights of Hollywood in 2022. Looking to build off of their electric Week 1 performance, the LA Rams are going to be playing lights out in the hopes of getting off to a 2-0 start this season.
