The Los Angeles Rams have their hands full on Sunday as they face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is a Heavyweight matchup between two of the best the NFC has to offer. It has the potential to be the game of the year. It's time to continue our NFL prediction series with a Rams Week 3 prediction.

LA's defense is one of the best in the league. With a brilliant secondary and Aaron Donald locking down the front seven, it's hard to do anything against them. With Jalen Ramsey defending the receivers, this is a difficult matchup for the Buccaneers.

Although Cam Akers fell to a season-ending injury, the Rams run game has remained solid. This is an unfavorable matchup for Los Angeles' running back room, but they could shock the world on Sunday. Matthew Stafford has been on fire since joining the Rams and that shouldn't end anytime soon. Cooper Kupp has been the main beneficiary in the Rams passing attack and should continue playing at a high level. With that said, here are four bold Rams Week 3 predictions against the Buccaneers.

Rams Week 3 Predictions

4. Rams defense shuts down Tom Brady and the Bucs passing game

We have one of the league's best passing offenses facing off against arguably the best secondary in the NFL. Even though the Bucs have Tom Brady, the ageless wonder could find himself struggling against the Rams. Antonio Brown is doubtful to play as he's recovering from COVID-19.

This means all of the attention will be on Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Rob Gronkowski. Look for the Rams to get aggressive on defense as they'll plan to take away the Buccaneers' strongest asset.

3. Darrell Henderson and Sony Michel combine for 100+ rushing yards

This might be a long shot, as the Buccaneers have the best rush defense in the league. It's nearly impossible to run against this unit as they attack the ball carrier at will. Even so, there's a slight chance Darrell Henderson and Sony Michel play above expectations on Sunday.

With the Rams focusing to exploit Tampa Bay's weak secondary, they could tire out the Buccaneers' defense altogether. If that happens, running lanes could open up in the second half, allowing for Henderson and Michel to chip away at the opposing defense.

2. Matthew Stafford torches the Bucs for 350+ yards and 4 touchdowns

Matthew Stafford has been lighting it up in his first two games with the Los Angeles Rams. That streak should continue in Week 3 against the Buccaneers. Sure, Tampa Bay can lock down the run, but they routinely get torched through the air. The passing game is the strongest asset of the Rams offense, which makes this a mismatch whenever Los Angeles has the ball.

1. Cooper Kupp erupts for 125+ yards and 2 touchdowns

Many believed it would be Robert Woods serving as the top target for Stafford. Instead, it's been Cooper Kupp. He's been targeted 21 times already and has hauled in 16 receptions for 271 yards and three touchdowns. Due to the glaring mismatch on Sunday, we should see Cooper Kupp feast on the Bucs defense throughout the game.
