Los Angeles Lakers sixth man Lou Williams has been on an absolute tear, scoring a total 137 points during the past four games, the most for a player coming off the bench in 46 years.

The 6-foot-2 point guard is averaging 34.3 points per game during the four-game stretch and doing so shooting 52.6 percent from the floor and 48.5 percent from deep in 31.5 minutes per game.

Williams has made the most from injuries to starters Nick Young and D'Angelo Russell, being incredibly aggressive looking for his shot and punishing the opposition from the charity stripe, hitting 39-of-42 free-throws (92.8 percent).

Sadly, his efforts have all come in losing outings, as the Lakers have lost eight of their last 10 games after Russell went down with an injury, including a five-game skid which they'll look to break against the New York Knicks on Sunday.

If he can continue to play with this intensity, he can challenge the likes of Eric Gordon for another Sixth Man of the Year award.
