Paris Saint-Germain is eager to see its star Neymar reunite with his former Barcelona teammate Luis Suárez, who is looking for his next destination. According to Sport, the 33-year-old Uruguayan striker could envision the two linking up like old times at the Parc des Princes.

Suárez is one of four players new Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman called up to let them know of his intentions. The Dutchman let them know he will not be needing them for this 2020-21 season, advising they look for a way out from the club through their respective agents.

Now that Barcelona is starting to clean house — doing so with former coach Quique Setien and former sporting director Eric Abidal — the club expects Suárez to be on his way in the next few days, as they await transfer offers for the striker.

Ajax bid a near $18 million to reel Luis Suárez back to where he once made his name, and the Eredivisie club was considered the frontrunner for his services as of Monday. Yet a move to Ligue 1 and a reunion with Neymar could tickle Suárez's curiosity, as the Uruguay standout looks to revive his career after a clear dip in his scoring in the past four years at the Camp Nou.

To make the move, PSG would have to hope that Luis Suárez could detach from Barcelona, allowing for a free transfer, which would make his signing viable under the rules of Fair Play.

Suárez is under contract until 2021 and will need to negotiate his exit to entertain any offers from the Premier League, Serie A, or this recent one from PSG. “El Pistolero” also has outside offers from Major League Soccer and a few Asian clubs vying for his services.

Neymar and Luis Suárez spent three years together at Barcelona before the former made his move to PSG. The two were an unstoppable force alongside Lionel Messi during those brief “M-S-N” days, capturing a UEFA Champions League title in 2015.
