Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton showed up at a volleyball tournament in Del Mar, Calif. this weekend, choosing to don the Gregg PopovichSteve Kerr 2020 presidential campaign t-shirt, stemming from the time both head coaches spoke against the election of President Donald Trump.

Check it out:

Popovich and Kerr had two of the most poignant, yet eloquent speeches in front of the media — expressing concern for the future of the nation and the people who chose to vote for Trump.

“I still pull for those guys. I stay in contact with a lot of them, obviously the coaching staff. Game 1 they looked good, but they gotta stay focused,” said Walton. “We looked good in Game 1 last year up there too, and LeBron and Kyrie and them are as good as it gets. They’re gonna be dangerous until that thing’s over, but they looked very focused Game 1.”

The awesome, yet unofficial/unauthorized shirt campaign has gotten plenty of traction in social media and around NBA circles as it seems.

The shirts come in white and blue, for $20 each — with a 100 percent of net proceeds benefitting many groups, according to the description on their website:

“Over the last six months, Gregg Popovich and Steve Kerr, along with a few other notable NBA coaches, have consistently reacted to our ongoing political malaise with reason, empathy, and candor. We think the American people deserve better than our current political horror show. Who better than the two most beloved figures in the NBA?

100% of all net proceeds generated from this store will be donated to the ACLU, Council on American-Islamic Relations, International Rescue Committee, Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and Union of Concerned Scientists.”
