Minnesota Lynx star Aerial Powers had been struggling immensely to shoot the ball. So, what did she do to try and break out of this brutal slump? Just text the legendary Michael Jordan.

Needless to say, it worked. The Lynx standout erupted for 25 points on Thursday night against the Las Vegas aces, shooting 9 for 21 from the field. She had gone just 14 for 57 prior to that. The most impressive part? Powers played through illness and still put together a fantastic performance.
Of course, Powers is a Jordan brand athlete which is why she was able to get on her phone and send MJ a quick message. Who knows better than the legend himself when it comes to finding your shooting stroke again.
Powers and the Lynx are just 1-4 so far this season, however, with their lone win coming against Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday. She collected just five points in that game though. Hopefully, Aerial Powers has turned a corner and will continue to shoot the ball well moving forward. At least she now knows Michael Jordan is there ready to give her advice whenever needed. You really can't beat that.
