Jalen Suggs was by far the brightest star in Las Vegas as the Orlando Magic exploded for 24 points in his NBA Summer League debut. The 20-year-old wasn't out there just putting the ball in the bucket either. Suggs had a total of three blocks in his first professional stint including a clutch rejection in transition with under 30 seconds left in regulation which ultimately sent the game to OT.

Suggs was out there basically doing it all for the Magic. He also added nine boards, two steals, and three triples to go alongside his impressive stat line.Β With other young stars like Cole Anthony and RJ Hampton suiting up for Orlando's Summer League squad, it was still the fifth overall pick that led the way for the team. Both and Anthony and Hampton had limited touches and scored just 15 points combined while Suggs was doing his thing.

The Gonzaga alum has a ton of upside and is bringing in some fresh new talent to Orlando. Despite dropping to the fifth in the 2021 NBA Draft, Suggs is making sure the entire world knows that he's one of the best newcomers to come out of this very loaded rookie class.

Don't be shocked if Jalen Suggs ends up as a top-three rookie at the end of this season.
