Between 2008-2013, Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson regularly appeared on ESPN’s NBA Countdown before leaving amidst rumors of apparent disturbance caused by Bill Simmons.
The aforementioned rumors have since been squashed, but reasons for his departure remain unclear.
Fans of the NBA great will be pleased to hear that the 57-year-old will be returning to their screens for good on Christmas Day, as per The Big Lead. He will be featured as part of ESPN’s lengthy coverage hosted by Michelle Beadle.

Also returning is broadcasting favorite Michael Wilbon, who will join Magic on ABC’s weekly Saturday night broadcasts after Christmas that will be hosted by Sage Steele.
