With Aaron Gordon becoming a restricted free agent this summer, he has set his sights high on what kind of contract he would like to sign.

He has made it clear he thinks he is worth a max contract, but ideally, he would like to stick around and play with the Magic.

The Magic weren't able to come to an agreement with Gordon back in October which has set up him becoming a restricted free agent.

Other teams can offer him a contract once free agency starts, and the Magic can decide to match that contract or decline it and then he will be free to sign with the other team.

For Gordon this year, he got off to a really fast start, but his play the last couple of months has plummeted which has caused some to wonder what type of player he is going to be in the future.

When you think of Gordon everyone knows about his dynamic dunks and high flying acrobatics that wows crowds.

But the last few years he has worked hard to try and change people's thoughts about his play, and become more of an overall player.

He played in 58 games this year averaging 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. He shot 43.4 percent from the field, and 33.6 percent from deep.

Those are well up from his career averages of 11.6 points, and 5.8 rebounds per game. The only thing that dipped a little bit was his shooting percentage. During his career, he has shot 45.1 percent from the field.

The big question now though is if Gordon has done enough to get the big deal he is hoping for this off-season?
