Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon is no longer showing concussion symptoms and hopes to make it back to the court for the Magic’s upcoming game against the L.A. Clippers on Wednesday.

Per Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel:

Aaron Gordon said he hopes to complete the NBA's concussion protocol before the Magic play next, on Wednesday. “I'm showing no symptoms,” Gordon said. “I feel good. So I'll leave up to the doctors.”

Gordon missed the Magic’s most recent game against the Atlanta Hawks after he was placed on the NBA’s concussion protocol. Orlando lost to the Hawks, 117-110, in his absence. Nikola Vucevic recorded a triple-double with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists with Gordon out, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a third loss in four games for the Magic.

Gordon is having a breakout year for Orlando this season and is putting up career-highs in just about every major category. He's the team's leading scorer 18.5 points per game while shooting 49 percent from the floor and 40 percent from beyond the arc. He is also averaging 8.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and nearly a block and a steal per game.

Gordon's possible return will be a major boost for the Magic, who are still without their second-leading scorer and starting small forward Evan Fournier due to a sprained ankle. Terrence Ross and rookie Jonathan Isaac are also currently out for Orlando.
