Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac received a unique gift on his 22nd birthday. It wasn't a material item, as you might expect. Instead, the 22-year-old got to work on his post game with Tracy McGrady.

In an interview with Josh Robbins of The Athletic, Isaac noted that his training time with McGrady was like receiving a gift:

“It's my birthday present,” Isaac told The Athletic. “I'm very grateful. Working with him was amazing, and I'll hopefully do it again, and soon.”

The Magic selected Isaac with the sixth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. The Bronx native is a promising player, as his size, length and athleticism allows him to guard a variety of positions.

In his 75 appearances with the Magic last season, Isaac racked up averages of 9.6 points on 42.9 percent shooting from the field (32.3 percent from beyond the arc), 5.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.3 blocks in 26.6 minutes per outing.

Now entering his third year of service with Orlando, Isaac is looking to continue his development:

“I feel like I was able to impact this team in a positive way (last season),” Isaac said earlier this week, via FanSided's Orlando Magic Daily. “And knowing that I did it, I can do it again. As I continue to get better, my mindset is on helping this team and having a positive impact on both sides of the floor.”

The Magic finished the 2018-19 regular-season campaign with a 42-40 overall record, which earned the team a No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, Orlando was defeated by the Toronto Raptors in the opening round, 4-1.
