After being selected as the 15th overall pick by the Orlando Magic, Cole Anthony couldn't help but get emotional during his post-draft interview. Mo Bamba was one of the many who witnessed this, and he did not waste time trolling his new teammate.

Via Twitter, Bamba had a funny yet heartfelt message to Cole.

Anthony's post-draft interview after getting drafted by the Magic was one of the great moments of the 2020 NBA Draft. The North Carolina standout shared his struggles throughout the year, even calling it “one of the hardest years” of his life. To recall, Anthony suffered a partially torn meniscus on his right knee in December last year. He quickly went under the needle and came back in Feb. 2020.

Anthony, a 6-foot-3 point guard, will be joining the young Magic lineup headlined by the likes of Markelle Fultz, Aaron Gordon, Nikola Vucevic, Evan Fournier, and Bamba.

Over the past two seasons, the Steve Clifford–coached squad has made the playoffs as the seventh and eighth seed, respectively. In 2019, they were booted out by the Toronto Raptors in five games. Last postseason, they got eliminated by the Milwaukee Bucks in five games as well. What raised the critics' eyebrows was that they were able to win Game 1 of both matchups, leading them to believe that the young squad has some potential.

From the looks of it, Anthony will be the backup guard to former first overall pick Markelle Fultz. But since Fultz can sometimes move up the shooting guard spot, Magic fans may see both backcourt studs in action at the same time.
