Orlando Magic big man Nikola Vucevic is coming off his best season in the NBA. The 28-year-old averaged 20.8 points and 12.0 rebounds and made his first All-Star team.

Vucevic led the Magic to the playoffs for the first time since 2012, the final year of the Dwight Howard era. Although the Magic lost to the Toronto Raptors in five games in the first round, the future in Orlando is bright, something we haven't been able to say in a very long time.

Vucevic becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer. The talented scorer believes he's just now starting his basketball prime.

“For me, I really do believe this is the start of my prime and I have a lot of years in front of me where I can play at a very high level,” Vucevic told John Denton of Magic.com. “The game now comes easier for me than ever and it’s only going to get easier with the way that I read the game and read stuff on the court. That’s going to help me a lot with my body and I know this year I felt better than ever.

“Those are all things that I can build on and improve. So, I can come back as a better player.”

Vucevic wants to come back to the Magic, but he will probably receive interest from other teams in free agency.

Free agency starts on July 1.
