The Orlando Magic's season didn't end the way the team wanted it to, but All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic is looking at the positives.

The Magic made the playoffs for the first time since 2012. They stole Game 1 in Toronto against the Raptors, but lost four-straight after that.

Vucevic, who becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer, says Magic fans can finally be proud of their team, something which couldn't be said for the past couple of seasons.

“It was definitely a change for the better, we had success and I feel like we brought back some hope for the City of Orlando,” Vucevic said, via John Denton of Magic.com. “Magic fans can be proud of what we’ve achieved. I know it’s tough now, but when we look back at the season after a couple of weeks, I think they will be proud of this team that they supported. So, it was definitely a good season for us in terms of changing the culture.”

Vucevic had a stellar regular season for the Magic. He averaged 20.8 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 51.8 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 78.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The Magic would obviously like to re-sign Vucevic so they can continue to build on what they achieved this season. Free agency starts on July 1.
