It has been a long season for the Orlando Magic. They entered Wednesday night's game hosting the Philadelphia 76ers 7-31. Meanwhile, the Sixers were moving in the other direction. The Sixers had won four straight and were a season-high four games over .500.

Despite how rough it's been for the Magic, there is one silver lining fans can take solace in. Mo Bamba continues to develop. On Wednesday, Bamba showed Sixers superstar Joel Embiid how athletic he was.

Midway through the 3rd quarter, the Magic held a seven point lead on the Sixers. Bamba got out in transition and climbed the latter. He skied over Embiid for an alley oop jam, and the foul.

Ultimately, the Sixers would come from behind and beat the Magic, 116-106. The Sixers had a big 4th quarter, outscoring Orlando 28-17. In the win, Embiid dropped 31 points, shooting 12 for 22 from the floor. He also pulled down five boards and dished four assists. However, the Sixers star also turned the ball over six times.

Meanwhile, Bamba stuffed the stat sheet. He finished with 19 points on 8 for 12 shooting, pulling down eight rebounds. He also had two steals and two blocks in the loss.

The Magic front court of Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr. are formidable. But the team lacks scoring depth. Shooting guard Gary Harris is good at a lot of things. Unfortunately, scoring is not one of them.

Cole Anthony is averaging 20 points per game. But he is not a legitimate threat. The Magic need to find some help and rebuild with some wing scorers through the draft.
