Orlando Magic head coach Steve Clifford says point guard Markelle Fultz was “hard to keep out of the paint” in his first practice on Tuesday.

Fultz has fully recovered from Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and is going to make his Magic debut this season, a sight Orlando fans can't wait to see.

The Magic acquired Markelle Fultz from the Philadelphia 76ers at the 2019 February trade deadline. He has career NBA averages of 7.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 41.4 percent from the field, 26.7 percent from beyond the arc and 53.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Fultz has only played in 33 NBA games due to scapular muscle imbalance in his right shoulder and Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. The Magic exercised their fourth-year team option on Fultz for the 2020-21 season, so the franchise is very committed to the former No. 1 overall draft pick.

In college, Fultz was a monster. He averaged 23.2 points and 5.9 assists in his lone season at Washington while shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and 41.3 percent from the 3-point line. The Magic aren't expecting Fultz to put up those type of numbers in the NBA. They just want him to stay healthy and provide a spark off the bench.

The entire NBA community is rooting for Fultz. Hopefully, he has a long and healthy career with the Magic.
