The Orlando Magic will be without small forward Terrence Ross when they take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.

Ross is dealing with a sore left Achilles’ tendon.

In 65 games this season for the Magic, Terrence Ross is averaging 14.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists. The 28-year-old swingman is shooting 42.5 percent from the field, 37.1 percent from beyond the arc and 87.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Ross is the fourth-leading scorer on the Magic behind All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic, high-flyer Aaron Gordon and forward Evan Fournier. Orlando is currently in the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Beating an elite Sixers team without Ross is going to be tough for the Magic, who are 30-35 on the season.

Orlando is coming off a terrible loss to the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers. It was the type of performance the Magic couldn't afford to have with their playoff hopes in the balance. Now, they will look to rebound against a star-studded Sixers team, led by Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris.

Tuesday is going to be the first game Ross misses this season for Orlando, and it's coming at the worst time. Other players on the team are going to have to step up in his absence.
