The fireworks have begun as the NBA trade deadline window is only a few hours from closing. The Orlando Magic have traded Nikola Vucevic to the Chicago Bulls for two first-round picks (2021 and 2023), Wendell Carter Jr. and Otto Porter Jr. The Bulls also received Al Farouq Aminu in the deal. Magic forward Terrence Ross has already chimed in with his thoughts, via his Twitter account.

Trading Vucevic sends a clear signal that the Magic will likely go full rebuild. Evan Fournier was shipped as well right after Vucevic, with Orlando sending the French hotshot to the Boston Celtics, while Aaron Gordon is expected to be traded as well before the trade deadline.

Trading Vucevic does signal that and he is now the first Orlando player to be traded in what could end up being a ripple effect with more to come.

Terrence Ross hasd a hunch that might be the case as well.

The Bulls land the two-time All-Star Vucevic and pair him with their own All-Star, Zach LaVine. There was dialogue as to whether the Bulls would buy or sell at the deadline, but this transaction with the Magic involving Vucevic confirms Chicago's stance as a buyer.

With this move, the Bulls have hit two birds with one stone. Having Vucevic now bolsters their playoffs chances and guarantees them a reliable big man under their control beyond the 2020-21 NBA season.

Vucevic is in Chicago and Fournier is now in Boston. Who will the Magic trade next?
