Orlando Magic legend Tracy McGrady believes that Orlando is the perfect place for Markelle Fultz, noting that the team will take good care of him and his health.

Fultz will enter his third year in the league now, albeit his first as a member of the Magic. Stories about his shoulder injury are legion, but McGrady feels that Fultz is in the best position of his career to rise back up.

“I think we all want to see him do well,” McGrady said, per Josh Robbins of The Athletic. “He got off to a rough start, whatever that case was, but he’s here now. I think he’s in the right organization to really care for him physically, mentally, to get him going in the right direction. I just saw him practice. He looked damn good. We’re hoping the best for him, and I think he will do well here. I think this is a great home for him.”

McGrady seemed to speak from his experience. To recall, the Hall of Famer spent four seasons donning the Magic jersey. In his stint there, he won back-to-back scoring titles, was named Most Improved Player, was selected to the All-Star and All-NBA Teams, and became a household name. It can also be argued that McGrady's health was at its peak during his time in Orlando.

For the Fultz fans who are still worried about the young guard's career, they need not worry no more. McGrady is confident that the organization will take care of him, just like how they did during their partnership years ago.
