The Orlando Magic continue to fortify its training camp roster by adding guard Troy Caupain, according to RealGM’s Keith Smith.

The undrafted rookie out of Cincinnati played in five Summer League games for the Toronto Raptors in the Las Vegas edition where he averaged 4.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and two assists per game.

Caupain faces an uphill climb in his journey to securing an NBA roster spot for the 2017-18 season, especially within a Magic squad that already boasts of a couple of steady backups each behind Evan Fournier and Elfrid Payton at both guard positions.

D.J. Augustin, Shelvin Mack, Arron Afflalo, and Mario Hezonja all do not appear to be giving way for Caupain’s addition, but the latter can still gain plenty of good experience in an NBA training camp setting, which he could then use to improve his game further.

After camp, there's always the G-League or overseas for Troy Caupain to continue working until he gets noticed by an NBA team.
