Next week will mark the start of most NBA teams' training camps. It will be the chance of the coaching staff to work with their new lineups and implement the system they want to have in place for the coming season.

One of the teams with a new-look are the Orlando Magic. From their head coach, Frank Vogel, to seven new players on the team, the front office initiated these changes geared to make a difference and compete in the improved Eastern Conference.

Though there are a lot of questions for the team, such as their identity and how the rotation will be, the 43-year-old bench boss surely has a plan and will start addressing these starting this coming week.

When asked by John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com on how it will be like at the start of training camp, the former Indiana Pacers head coach had this to say:

“No question, a lot of our camp is going to be a lot about that (building of chemistry). One of the most important things that you can achieve as a team is positive chemistry. If you don’t achieve that, you’re not going anywhere. So we’ll talk about that all the time. My job is to scheme-wise tie together the parts on the court while letting their individual games find each other. That’s just going to come with time. It’s my job to see to it that all of the guys are working together on both ends.”

With the addition of two of the more defensive-minded big men in the league, Serge Ibaka and Bismack Biyombo, to their fold, Vogel will be able to make his schemes similar to what he did in Indiana. In five-and-a-half seasons there, he was known to preach defense first and that has been his calling card since.

The talent is already at his disposal and his squad is one of the youngest in the league, which makes the future in Orlando shine bright. If the New Jersey native can bring out the best from each of his players, there is no doubt they can become the team of the future and make waves in the NBA for years to come.
