Following Toronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan‘s indirect comments about the Milwaukee Bucks setting illegal screens, one of the Bucks' rookies gave his thoughts about what he has learned about screens in the NBA in general, and not just his team's.

Malcolm Brogdon admitted that what his team sets during games is up to the standards of the league. However, he also added that all screens in the NBA are illegal, which is something he apparently found out hard way throughout his first season as a pro.

Brogdon's statement is truly a strong one and could turn out to be a controversial topic as well. With the league coming up with ways to improve their referees' officiating, the 24-year-old Virginia product may bring a lot of attention to how screens are done in the future, and something the league office may want to review with their game officials come summertime.

For what its worth, Brogdon also proved that he is not afraid to speak his mind, despite risking receiving a fine or sanction from the NBA. If he continues to be outspoken, especially when his team is competing, he could become one of the Bucks' vocal leaders in the future, which their young team needs to be more successful in the seasons to come.
