Jack Grealish to Man City is becoming a reality. The Aston Villa talisman appears to have made a decision regarding his future, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Grealish is on the verge of joining the Premier League champions on a five-year deal:

As Romano points out, it's not completely done yet, but Jack Grealish does seem set on leaving Villa for the Etihad. This is a massive signing for Pep Guardiola's side, giving them more creativity in the final third alongside Kevin De Bruyne. Grealish, who became a fan-favorite at Euro 2020 for England, supplied two assists in the tournament and put his talent on full display in front of the world.

This deal is set to smash the transfer record for a Premier League player, with Man City set to pay around £100 million for the 25-year-old. Man United previously paid £89 million for Paul Pogba back in 2016. With this Jack Grealish situation reaching its final stages, it now seems unlikely the Citizens also sign the disgruntled Spurs star Harry Kane, who would cost upwards of £150 million.

Villa has done everything in their power to keep Grealish, even offering him a brand new contract despite signing one in September. However, he is clearly poised to move on to bigger things and get the chance to compete for trophies.

Jack Grealish bagged six goals and tallied 10 assists in 26 matches last term. Now, he'll be looking to make that same impact under Guardiola.
