Manchester United is in shambles. Four defeats in seven games and eighth place in the Premier League table. In all aspects, the Red Devils are struggling and outside of Cristiano Ronaldo, there hasn't been a lot of production from the attack. In particular, Bruno Fernandes has looked practically non-existent for Man United after such a breathtaking campaign in 2020/21. To put his slow start into perspective, just take a look at this:

The Portuguese international is supposed to be the heart of United's midfield and their most creative player. Yet, he hasn't even hit the goal in over two months. Absolutely dreadful. Fernandes has four goals and three assists, but all that damage came in the first month of the season.

Man United couldn't be in a worse position right now and they also just fired their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after almost three years at the helm. While Cristiano is still managing to find the back of the net relatively often, Fernandes' involvement in the final third is extremely important to the side's success.

The former Sporting Lisbon playmaker had 18 goals and 12 assists last season in 37 appearances for Man United and was hailed as one of the best players in the Premier League. Needless to say, the Red Devils need him to find his form relatively quick as the club looks to turn the ship around.
