The injuries are starting to piling up for Man United. With Harry Maguire already sidelined, his backline partner Raphael Varane has also just sustained an injury that is set to keep him out for a few weeks. Via Fabrizio Romano:

Varane limped off just before halftime on Sunday with a groin problem as France beat Spain in the Nations League Final. While a few weeks isn't a huge deal, the Red Devils still don't know when Maguire will be back either. He's missed the last two matches for Man United and didn't report on international duty with England because of his injury.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hasn't provided an update on Maguire, although he will be hoping to return to the pitch soon. United is currently fourth in the table with a 4-2-1 record and are coming off a 1-1 draw with Everton in early October.

The partnership of Varane and Maguire has been extremely solid thus far, with Man United conceding just six goals in seven Premier League games. But without them anchoring the backline, it's definitely concerning for Solskjaer given his limited options at centre-back.

The side faces Leicester City this Saturday after failing to win once against the Foxes last term. On a more positive note though, Marcus Rashford could make his long-awaited return vs. Leicester after undergoing shoulder surgery this summer. That will certainly give them a boost in the final third alongside the clinical Cristiano Ronaldo.
