It was an amazing moment for Manchester City, who fended off the second-half surge from Liverpool in order to defend their title and win their fourth in five years. While they won't be in the Champions League final after a disastrous defeat to Real Madrid, they've successfully prevented Liverpool from pulling off the quadruple of trophies by denying them a Premier League title.

Manchester City was dominant throughout the season, and their position atop the league, as winners of the trophy, is well deserved. Guardiola had this side firing offensively and defensively throughout the year, and even without a true striker atop the attack, Manchester City barely lost a step offensively. It was a well-earned title for the Pep Guardiola coached Citizens, who will be absolutely delighted to have seen the job through in comeback fashion.
