Manchester United's interim manager Ralf Rangnick is confident he will gel with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Along with the change in Manchester United coaching staff came the resurgence of Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of goal scoring. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has notched a total of three goals in the club's first three matches since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking.

Another change is expected to happen once Ralf Rangnick makes his debut as Manchester United's new boss against Crystal Palace. However, the gegenpressing master is certain that he will have no major issues adjusting to Ronaldo's game.

“You always have to adapt your style or your idea of football to the players you have available, not vice versa,” Rangnick said in his first press conference via ESPN. “Having seen Cristiano [Ronaldo] yesterday [against Arsenal] in the second half at the age of 36, an amazing top professional. At his age, I've never seen a player who is still that physically fit. He's still a player who can easily make the difference. So yes, it's about how we can develop the whole team, not only Cristiano.”

“We play in the most competitive league in the world, so we need all the players on board,” he explained. “What I saw from Cristiano yesterday, he is more than willing to do that, to put his input into the team. His teammates will have to do the same.”

It is safe to say that Manchester United fans have their fingers crossed that Rangnick can be the manager Ronaldo needed to finally be able to lead the Red Devils back to the top.
