As the final piece of the golden age San Antonio Spurs Big 3, it was sad seeing legendary super sixth man Manu Ginobili finally hang it up this time. Arguably the best international player of all time, the Argentinian shooting guard brought a new European flavor to the NBA. With his deceptively surprising athleticism paired with crafty footwork, unpredictable fakes, and a nearly unstoppable euro step, even on the opposing team, it was impossible not to love Ginobili.

Despite his awesome career, we may sadly never get to see his brilliance on the court with his recent retirement. Although all might not be lost seeing the former Sixth Man of the Year. According to a tweet from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Spurs might have something in store for him.

With the vast basketball knowledge and experience playing in the international leagues and the NBA, the two-time All-Star will definitely be a great candidate for a coaching stint. Being a four-time NBA champion with the Spurs surely helps and adds an aspect that most coaches would not have. Add in his good long-standing relationship with Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich and executive RC Buford, you might have a shoo-in for a coach in the making.

During his 16-year career, Ginobili averaged 13.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists. He could easily have been a starter in any team, but his selfless attitude and sacrifice towards winning set the tone for the Spurs' winning culture.

If he could translate that kind of mindset into coaching, success for a team will just be a familiarity.
