Murray State guard Ja Morant torched Marquette in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament with a blistering triple-double. Now, he will look to maintain his fiery form when they play Florida State next.

Morant is widely expected to build on his performance against the Golden Eagles. However, according to BetOnline.ag, another triple-double display may prove to be difficult for the the 19-year-old. Morant heads into the game at +700 to reach the statistical feat and at -1500 for a failure to match his most recent success.

The South Carolina native embodied March Madness with his 17-point, 16-assist and 11-rebound performance against Marquette. It was the first triple-double in the NCAA Tournament since 2012, following now Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green who did it twice for Michigan State in 2011 and 2012.

Remarkably, Morant also became one of only eight players to ever reach the stat line in the competition's history.

Triple-double is no longer new to Morant though, and it might be foolish to completely rule out another epic performance from one of the top NBA prospects in college. His stat line against Marquette is his third triple-double of the season, having also accomplished the mark versus Missouri State last November and against Morehead State last month.

Florida State certainly won't be easy opponents for Murray State. The Seminoles are coming off a 76-69 victory over Vermont.
