Week 11 of the NFL season had its own proverbial cherry on top with a showdown between Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams, who both entered the game with each having only one loss. The game ended with the Rams improving to 10-1 and the Chiefs dropping to 9-2, as the former defeated the latter to the tune of a 54-51 score.

As the score suggests, the game was a barn burner and it came down to the last couple of minutes of regulation before it was decided. As for the most telling juncture of the contest, it’s hard to argue against Marcus Peters’ interception with less than two minutes on the game clock. Peters’ interception derailed the Chiefs' chances of winning the game, though, Kansas City still got the ball back one more time. The Chiefs’ last drive of the game also ended in an interception, this time by Rams safety Lamarcus Joyner, who essentially put an end to the Chiefs’ rally.

After the game, Andy Reid and Marcus Peters met in the middle of the field to share an embrace. It was an emotional scene, but Mostly Football put a hilarious spin on it by laying a funny voice over on top of the clip.

It could be remembered that Peters was shipped from Kansas City to the Rams, along with a future draft pick back in February in exchange for a pair of future draft picks.

While Peters felt good about beating his old team, it’s going to be a whole lot better for him if the Rams ended up as this season’s Super Bowl champions.
