During the fourth quarter of the game between the Washington Wizards and the Boston Celtics, John Wall and Marcus Smart got into a heated exchange of words after the Wizards' point guard committed a hard foul on him.

The tussle resulted to technical fouls for both of them, and since it's the second of Wall for the night, he got ejected for the second straight game.

After the game, Smart talked about the scuffle and made it clear he doesn't plan on backing down from anybody.

“He made a hard foul, and I didn’t take too fond of it. So, I let him know what I had to say. I ain’t backing down from nobody, and that’s going to be understood from here on out. I don’t know what he thought, but I think he got the message.”

The Wizards and Celtics are scheduled to meet three more times this season and it will be very interesting how the two players will go up against each other during those games. It will also answer the question if Wall indeed got the message Smart wanted him to receive.
